Sofia, a teenage cancer survivor, has finished treatment and been declared cancer free. However, she hasn’t returned to her normal social life yet. In the short film GREAT WHITE LIES, Sofia attends her best friend’s party for the first time since her diagnosis. At the party, Sofia is faced with unexpected changes and feelings about her life after cancer. It leads her down a path to move forward, like a shark.
